Hamsaduta

When Krsna was living in Mathura after leaving Vrndavana, He sent a message of love to the residents of Vrajabhumi through His intimate friend Uddhava. This is known as Uddhava-sandesa.
Similarly, Srimati Radharani's intimate friend Lalita sent a message to Krsna in Mathura through a swan messenger. In a mood of loving enviousness she explains her heartfelt wishes to the swan in Srila Rupa Gosvami's Hamsaduta.
