SB1.18 - Maharaja Pariksit Cursed (With Purports)

Although saved by the Lord Himself within the womb of his mother, the great emporer Maharaja Pariksit was cursed to die in seven days by the son of a brahmana. This curse set the scene for the incarnation of Srimad Bhagavatam, and therefore, although seen as frustrating by some, was actually a wonderful benediction.
