Caitanya-caritamrta Adi-lila, Chapter 4 (With Selected Purports)

Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami begins his epic about Lord Caitanya stating fourteen introductory verses. He then embellishes on those verses throughout the rest of the book.
Verses 5 & 6 of the original slokas describe in seed form confidential reasons for the Lord's appearance as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Adi-lila, Chapter 4 further sprouts those seeds with explanations of these confidential topics. The genius of Srila Prabhupada's English translations and purports make these complex philosophical concepts easily understandable by the common man.
